go to the hardware store and find one of those paint chip cards that matches your swatch… then look to match the other colors on the card if your color isn’t available, that should give you other shades of the same color that “go” even if they aren’t at the same saturation or a dead on match.
I don’t think any of your guests are going to grab a groomsman by the tie, hold it up against a bridesmaid’s dress and chew you out for not color coordinating better.

I realize this is a pretty old post so hopefully you guys are still using the site… Lovebug333 were you happy with your choice of jade for your teal? I’m going with Jade as well as a teal color but I’m worried it is going to look more green. I am also struggling with finding coordinating colors for the guys… My accent color is brown so I might just put the guys in brown vests with matching ties to eliminate the possibility of the shade being off. But I am open to variations in shade, thoughts?

I went through the same thing when I initially had this dusty vintage mint green colour in mind…think like this:
…and honestly, it became such a pain in the ass to find bridesmaids’ dresses in it (everyone kept trying to push me to a sage or an aqua and I was not interested in either of those colours), that I changed my colour scheme. I’d rather pick a scheme that I like than end up with one that I hate because everyone was trying to get close to that mint green colour.
So now each Bridesmaid or Best Man is wearing a different jewel tone shade and the groomsmen will wear corresponding ones. Everyone got to pick a shade they like and is happy. Yay.
