I’m keeping it simple for my beach theme wedding! Hurricane vase, sand, seashells and fake flower petals. each vase will be surrounded by 4 votives of alternating pink and orange color.
Vases – bought 12 off craigslist
Sand – 50lb bag from Lowes. It’s play sand! So much cheaper than decorative sand and looks more beachy to me. It was about 3.50 for the bag.
Blue tarp, candles, votive holders, & petals – Ikea (bought waaaayyy too many bags of petals, lol)
Seashells – I collected them on our cruise vacation last year on the island of St. Kitts. It was super important for me to use them for the wedding since I had such an awesome time collecting them. 🙂

Cute! When everything is lit it’s going to be even nicer!
Consider tossing some seashells and petals on the table. Also, I read somewhere a recommendation to put mirrors down under the centerpieces so the candles reflect off of them better.

@futuremrsk18: I was actually considering getting mirrors from the dollar store! If they don’t have them there then I will probably forego them. I’m out of seashells that I collected and don’t want to buy any. 🙁 I’m trying to spend as little as possible in the last month! I was definitely going to do petals on the table since I have so many left lol

They are so simple and yet so pretty! I like them! I agree with the mirror if you can find them. The Dollar Tree by us has them and I know you can order them online.

Pretty! I agree, mirrors would be an added bonus if you can get them!

@Mrs Hedgehog: Thank you! I will visit the newly opened Dollar Tree this week!
@urchin: Thanks!! I think so too.
@ProfessorGirl: Thank you! I literally sat at the edge of the beach and every time the waves came up, I would grab a handful of shells and sift them into my plastic cup. It reminded me of being a little girl doing the same thing. I was SO HAPPY!! That’s why it was so important for me to use them for the centerpieces because it made me so happy collecting them. FI had goggles so he got a few for me also. People who had snorkeling gear were coming out of the water with conch shells and huge starfish! St. Kitts is beautiful, we had such a great day.
@mrs.lockandkey: Thank you! I’m a little proud of myself at how simple, pretty and most of all CHEAP they were to put together.
