I hate days like that!! So sorry!! I say you go to blockbuster and get some good romantic comedies and although i wouldn’t normally recommend drinking alone, it sounds like a glass of wine could go a long way!! hang in there–tomorrow is a new day!!

I’m sorry 🙁 that sounds awful! When I’m bummed out I like to read, watch a movie, or browse weddingbee.. basically anything that will keep me distracted, otherwise I’ll just upset myself by dwelling on it.

Oh, I feel your pain! Being snowed in is the worst especially with the day you are having.  maybe its a good time to do something you’ve been needing to do for a while but didn’t have time/desire (i.e., go through clothes and gather items for good will) or take a bubble bath. Hope tomorrow is a better day!

Whenever I’m really down, cuteoverload.com cheers me up. Or, I play these really adorable flash games online at http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/.

Another thing I do is CLEAN. Scub the house from top to bottom. I can abuse the rags as much as I want and it really helps get bad energy out.

Well if it’s all snowy out and you don’t want to leave, I would order a pizza, make some hot cocoa or cup of joe, snuggle up on your coutch and order netflix or watch a movie you already own.  I always like watchin My Best Friends Wedding or Sex and the City movie to cheer me up.

I’m really sorry, your day sounds horrible. But, what I like to do, is watch corny movies. You can download some from the internet, and some are on youtube. I suggest Amèlie or Under the Tuscan Sun, or Babette’s Feast (I like food).

Glass of wine, tea or cocao is a must – do it right after your shower. Light some candles too. A good movie or SATC would be my personal pick. I hope you feel better. Other peoples vomit is gross. I’m mad on your behalf!!

Yes!  A hot shower is a good start!  Stay in there for a while…use lots of good smelling body wash….

Then get into the warmest, snuggliest pajamas you own!

Then, I like the idea of ordering pizza (or anything else that’s not great for you that you looooove…go ahead, get the motzerella sticks too!) and then see what movies you can order through your cable company, or that you already own.  I just watched Up and I have to tell you – I laughed, I cried…it was an amazing feel good movie.  Good luck!

The last thing you need to do, before you go to bed tonight, is read this quote a few times.  It’s what I do when I have days just like yours:

“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”  ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Oh no, I’m sorry. 🙁 Days like this are awful. I usually pour myself a glass of red wine, grab a good book, and take a bubble bath. Sometimes I play some music… right now it’s Battle Studies by John Mayer.

@PomPom:  I’m glad you like it.  That quote has gotten me through many a bad day, and helped me to sleep better at night.  I keep it in a drawer by my bed so I can always read it before turning out my light!

Second or third or whatever the wine, you need it!

Also, sign up for a netflix free trial and just watch on your computer tonight instead of digging your car out of the snow! 🙂

And finally… warm bath and exfoliate and moisturize… it is SO hard to not feel good after that!
