literally. i bought it off ebay a while ago and have been trying ever since to get the stench out of it. It did say on the ebayers page thingy that it may need to be washed before use.. but gee wiz it stinks! im thinking ill have to chuck it out! it smells like old musty moldy never been washed crinoline.. i dont know how else to describe it!! im sooo over it! does anyone have some suggestions on what i can do to get rid of the stench??? seriously it is bad i showed my FH and he had a wiff and nearly spewed… i dont even want it in my house it stinks that bad!!!

Have you tried washing it yet?
If so, and the smell is still there, I would put it into a plastic bag with an open box of baking soda, tie it tight and leave it for a week.
If that doesn’t work , there are moisture and odor absorbers that you can buy for cars that are veryy effective.

Eewww. That does not sound pretty and bridal. But I wouldn’t chuck it without trying to get the stank out first! Maybe wash it with detergent and a cup of baking soda? I’ve found baking soda really help with getting out smells.

You could also try vinegar. I put that in with dh’s work clothes (he’s a mechanic, and if he sometimes stinks when he comes home if he gets something on his clothes) and it takes grease and diesel oil smells out of his clothes

So far ive tried vinegar. its still reaks!! im scared my washing machine will stink!! ive washed it quite a few times. but i will give the baking soda ago.. sooo gross!!!
