Have you tried washing it yet?

If so, and the smell is still there, I would put it into a plastic bag with an open box of baking soda, tie it tight and leave it for a week.

If that doesn’t work , there are moisture and odor absorbers that you can buy for cars that are veryy effective.

Eewww. That does not sound pretty and bridal. But I wouldn’t chuck it without trying to get the stank out first! Maybe wash it with detergent and a cup of baking soda? I’ve found baking soda really help with getting out smells.

You could also try vinegar. I put that in with dh’s work clothes (he’s a mechanic, and if he sometimes stinks when he comes home if he gets something on his clothes) and it takes grease and diesel oil smells out of his clothes
