I just wanted to share my experience with Bridal Bliss Design on Etsy. I loved the Jim Hjelm 8904 style dress, but not the price tag that came along with it. I went to 3 or 4 bridal shops and did not like anything I tried on. After reading all of the positive feedback for Bridal Bliss Designs, I contacted Erin.
First of all, she was fabulous to communicate with. She got back to all of my questions and concerns within 24-48 hours. Secondly, she was very thorough in making sure the changes I wanted to make to the dress were understood. Lastly, the dress shipped about 3 months after purchase with pictures sent to me prior to shipping so I could OK the design.
Here is the Jim Hjelm:
Here is my reproduction:
I asked for a champagne underlay with ivory lace (instead of the white in the original dress), no train, and to raise the V-back by about two inches. The sash is clipped, it is actually very long.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Bridal Bliss Designs and would highly recommend ordering from her shop for a custom gown. I even ordered my bridesmaid dresses from the Jersy Maid on Etsy, which Erin runs as well. Again, a reserved listing was quickly made for me and the dresses were on my doorstep about a week later.
I hope this helps anyone who has been on the fence about custom order designs.
