While I love kite set princess cuts (I might be a little biased being as mine is kite set lol) I think in your case the square setting would look better with your setting. In the end you are the one that has to love it and if you have doubts about it being kite set then you need to go with what you love. Good luck!

the more I look at it, the more I like it. I think it’s nice not having something that everyone else has. I like a previous posters suggestion of placing gemstones in between the halo, Morganite would be very pretty!

Normally I love kite set, but here it just doesn’t match with the style of the rest of your setting. I think it would look a lot more cohesive reset the traditional way. By The Way the setting is really pretty, especially in rose gold!

I’m not a fan of the kite…I dont like the gaps. I think it would look great the other way though!

I would probably have it set normally, with no airline.  I would not like all that metal in the basket showing.

I would keep the kite and fill the gaps with more diamonds 🙂

rosegoldgirl:  Oh … WOW!! Your ring is breathtakingly stunning! I love it with the double halos. Somehow, I think it makes your center stone stand out even more. (Am I nuts for thinking this? Ha, ha!) It is so beautiful in the rose gold, too. I even love the side profile, with the pretty and delicate milgrain along the edges. Your ring has so many lovely details. Congrats on being so near to the end of a long ring journey!
