My engagement ring is Moissanite Co’s sol387, petite bezel round solitaire. 7 mm stone in rose gold. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted for a wedding band.
This is the inspiration ring: https://www.etsy.com/listing/176288428/dual-stone-ring-diamond-wedding-ring
Moisannite Co custom made my wedding band in this style to work with my e-ring. They had never made a ring that is not a full circle before but they made it work for me!
As always I find it impossible to take perfect pictures of rings but here are my attempts. I don’t want to take it off! I love that I am the only one with this exact set. I love that it’s fairly minimal but still sparkly. I just love it.
And just for fun here’s the rendering.

Gorgeous!! Love the unique design! Your set is perfect! I just got my own custom wedding band back yesterday (through a local jeweler); such an exciting process to see it come to life! 🙂

That is so cool! But would you ever wear just the wedding band alone since it’s open like that?

That is a good question. I did want a wedding band that could be worn alone and I loved the way the inspiration ring looks alone. The way my ring had to be made to accomodate the fairly large e-ring setting it turned out a little different than the inspiration ring. I just took off my e-ring while I typed this and as I type I’m glancing at the band by itself and I do still like it. In fact I think it could really grow on me. The feel of it is amazing. I hardly feel it. I keep forgetting I have an extra ring on my finger. But it also feels totally secure. It is in no danger of falling off or anything like that.
So to answer your question in a round about way, yes I think I would wear it alone if I ever felt like I needed or wanted to. Before ordering this I did have a conversation with my fiance about the possibility of one day maybe wanting to get a more traidtional band and he is open to that. But at least for now I’m in love with this one. 🙂
