Are these cycles ones that are off of birth control of some kind?  Are you charting at all to see when you are ovulating?

What’s your physical activity level?  I noticed when I was running cross country & track in high school I missed periods entirely, and even when I played lacrosse in college my cycles would get longer and loooooonger.

It might also be a good thing to bring up with your women’s health provider if you’re TTC, though I am not sure they would look at a 35 day cycle as terribly long.  It’s worth it to ask though!

@ames12708:  Hmm, then I have no idea what would be up!  Are you actually TTC? Maybe that is putting more stress on you than you think? I would encourage you to start charting, but I can understand how it’s not for everyone.  Definitely something to ask your doctor about, too!

How many DPO are you? Sometimes positive tests don’t show until later on.

My cycles were like this: 29, 30, 33, 34, 38, 33, and now are like 29-30 days every single cycle. There is hope!

Peeking in bc i’m curious. Mine are longer too, but I figured its still my body getting back to normal after being on BC for so long.

@ChuckNorris:  that’s good to know. Maybe mine will go back down too!

@ames12708:  Geez, I’m sorry. You weren’t sick at all this cycle? No new medications? If no sign in a week or two, I’d call the doctor.

Same thing happened to be off bcp, but I started charting which helped me realize I was ovulating later and later. I did eventually even out, but still have longer cycles (30-34 days). I stopped eating most processed foods and caffeine healer medical reasons– migraines) and that seemed to help my cycles, too.

Sorry I don’t have any real advice, other than to say I’ve been there and as frustrating as it was it eventually got better!
