It’s rough, but let him be a butthead. If he refuses to cooperate, it’s his loss. If your grandfather’s been there for you through thick and thin, let him keep the honors. If your father is going to be so mean, let him be. He’ll regret it later, and it will be his fault, not yours. I know it’s rough, but try not to let it fluster you too badly. Some people are just like that (my late grandfather included)

Well, I don’t think you should feel bad about this, although I know this situation has got to be tough on you.  It shows your dad’s true colors.  When it comes to what you want on your wedding day, he cares more about the things that he wants.  I think you should offer it to your dad (him walking with the rest of the family).  Be the bigger person that way even though he may regret his decisions, you won’t.
