If he gave you a twist-tie ring, asked you to marry him, and you said yes, its a dang engagement ring. It doesn’t matter what the ring looks like. Don’t listen to the sales people. They’re idiots. Besides, thats a very “traditional engagement-y” looking ring to me.

It looks like a traditional engagement ring to me.

People have opinions about everything when it comes to engagements. If it isn’t diamond… not an engagement ring… if it isn’t solitair… if it has 3 stones, oh, that is an anniversary ring not an engagement ring… blahblahblah.

If you love it, and he proposed with it, it is an engagement ring. 🙂

Looks like an engagement ring to me , and if i saw it IRL i would think it was an Ering even if you had on the right hand esp b/c in some cultures thats where the ering is worn, and its really pretty btw 🙂

Congrats !

My ring is a simillar and I love it. Cluster rings are great for girls who love some sparkly but are on a budget…or in my case really frugal! I think your ring is stunning and if its the ring he proposed with then it is indeed an engagment ring!!!

Looks like an engagement ring to me! I don’t have a picture on hand but my center stone is a dark sapphire, similar to the royal ring but smaller. Not the expected bridal e-ring at all but I am in love with it! I paired it with a wide intricate open weave floral ring with diamonds so it is unique and fits my personality perfectly.
