Mine is an H….idk, looks white enough to me. And for that matter, this thread made me question my color perception a bit..lol…everyones rings look stunning to me. For those who have their rings in colors that fall after mine, I really can’t tell any ‘yellowness’. Good think I’m not a gemologist!

i have only noticed teh color a couple of times when i was in my office and the light was a bit tintet, but it was very very slight.

I obsess about what color my diamond looks. When we were shopping for my E ring we both were insistant we wanted as clear as we can afford. When we saw the stone in the jewelry store I did not notice any yellow at all. When he proposed and gave me the ring I noticed that in some lights it looks yellow. It was upsetting at first but I am learning to accept it and appreciate how much he loves me for giving me such a beautiful ring!!

It’s not so much color that bothers me as cut, and clarity. If it’s a K with a bad cut and clarity it ruins the whole look. If it’s flawless but colored then it may be super gorgeous.
When my fiance proposed I was over the moon. I loved my ring- it was night time, and I had no way of even thinking that anything was wrong. I woke up the next morning to look at my beauty in the daylight and noticed some very obvious inclusions/flaws and a dullness that I hadn’t expected. My love picked a beautiful ring, but bought online and did not honestly know what a “good” diamond should look like… he thought all diamonds were pretty much created equal so tried to get the biggest carat with little regards for anything else.
Make sure if you want a colored diamond you get high quality everything else. Anyway… so we went to a jewelry store today and looked and I saw a loose diamond and fell in love and I’m going to have it mounted in a Tiffany mounting asap as soon as we return my ring. He isn’t even upset about the fact it bothers me, he’s actually more upset people sell such low quality diamonds and claim to be such a great online business.
Anywayyy so here are some comparisons. My ring is 1.1 carat, K color, and low quality cut and clarity. Compared to the near flawless diamond with an E color.
I’m very excited for this brilliant diamond- and I have to give my fiance credit- he picked out the second one TOO! WINNER right there, I’m keeping him.
(PS avoid Ritani, they totally cheated us out of $520. Ridiculous)
That’s my ring on the edge- to compare in similar lighting…
