I can only do about five real pushups, so I do the baby ones the rest of the time!

Also, after 5 weeks of Shredding I stopped, and will be moving on to Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism. It wasn’t even that I got bored, I just got overwhelmed with school and work, and I don’t want to go back to start all over… I would be really sad when the Shred was hard again!

Meh, if you can do everything else then switch up to level two.  Push ups are REALLY hard, so don’t let them deter you from moving on.

Those darn pushups!  I always did baby pushups in Level 1 and recently moved onto Level 2 despite my sad pushup progress.  But Level 2 is killer on the arms!  The moves she has in plank position are just ridiculous.  I am tired just thinking about them.

I always do the baby pushups, mainly because I have bad wrists and the manly ones are too rough on them. I say you get to graduate to level 2! (but I found level 1 more enjoyable :-).)

yeah i always do baby push ups too!! i’d move up if you can do everything else easy peasy.

@Goldilocks – Me too!  My wrists are terrible, and I always feel like such a weakling!  But @okqueenbee, I have to say, it’s my pushup pathetic-ness that’s stopping me from moving up as well.  I should probably just bite the bullet, because I’m pretty sure I’m just using this an excuse because I’m scared of level 2.  That’s my secret.  πŸ˜‰

Sigh…I was so good about doing the Shred for the first week, and then I just got bored. I hate listening to the same music and the same commentary every time. I have a short attention span I guess, lol. I really need to force myself to get back into it!

And re: level 2–I was dying when I did it for the first time. Like literally panting for breath. My arms were KILLING me the next day!

Oh yeah, I always do the baby pushups! I know I can’t handle the real ones, so I don’t even try!!

Level 2 sucks, but I’m getting better at it. Tried level 3 the other day and literally almost died. I won’t be trying it again anytime soon!!!

My shred secret is that every time I’m watching the level 1 there’s one scene where you can see the girl doing the “hard” routine pausing and not going down in her squats or something.  And I always yell at her. ALWAYS.  It’s like I look forward to yelling at her.  She’s a pansy! Do the lunges!

yesterday was my first day of level 2 (after two days of level 1) and my secret is… those “5 second breaks” jillian says to take if your overwhelmed… i took it… at least a few times! :X

tonight: day 2 of level 2!…. i’m doing rotations of 2 level 1, break day, 2 level 2, break day, 2 level 3 etc. πŸ™‚

@okqueen it is OKAY I still am on level 1 too! and guess what my secret is??? the first THREE times I did it, count ‘um, 1-2-3, I would randomly dance around if I messed up or couldn’t finish an exercise! haha now I am rockin out level 1….except those darn push ups! I do about 5 and then switch to the baby ones πŸ™‚

I told myself when I switch to level 2 I am going to Target and getting a cute new work out outfit πŸ™‚

I do 10 pushups and then sit in the plank position for the rest of the session. 

I cannot for the life of me do the third circuits raises and side lunges.  I use 5 lb weights for all the other exercises but that one I can barely do even if I hold the 5 lb weight with both hands! 

I am scared to go on to level 2!
