I can relate on so many levels to this post.  I know traditionally we shouldn’t know the when, where, and how…but sometimes we just do!  My best advice (that I constantly struggle with) is to not put expectations on every park visit.  You can easily ruin your trip by waiting and wishing the whole time.

It also helped when a recently engaged friend told me that she misses this time before the actual proposal.  The anticipation is so hard, but it’s also fun in a way.  Once the proposal is over, it’s over.  Relish this time while you still have it, cuz it sounds like you won’t have it for much longer!

Mrs.ZarinaN:  ahhh how exciting!!!

That is so hard because my heart would drop everytime we stopped to take a picture or walked past the castle or went on our favorite ride! lol That is my dream proposal place! SO and I have our annual passes – maybe we will get to witness it haha.

No advice – im just super jealous 🙂

I would have given ANYTHING for my proposal to have been at Disneyland!! My Fiance is shy though 🙁 I’m excited for you though!!! At least you know where your proposal will be (kinda)

Mrs.ZarinaN:  I say just be surprised. It’s a wonder you already know so much, if I was your Fiance I would pull a fast one on you and do it somewhere else besides Disney to surprise you…but I feel like the surprsie is the sweet part of the proposal

Sit back and savor this moment. Don’t try to figure out every detail, the surprise is the fun part.

I cna see where it would be hard to go to DL and not get your hopes up! I would probably rather not know if I were you. Just try to tell yourself it will happen eventually

Mrs.ZarinaN:  YES THIS! This makes me sound super crazy, but I bought three or four new outfits in the past month, and I try way harder when going places anymore.  And my nails are impeccable, which is so rare.  Worst part is, I’m almost certain it’ll happen in June, so all of my work is a little overboard at this point.  But it can’t hurt to look extra good for no reason…right?

Congratulations! We got engaged at Disney World and it is truley a magical place to pop the question.

My advise is to try and not think about it and dont obsess over the wheres and when. This is a really memorable time in your life and you will enjoy those memories so much more if they are a surprise. Plus fast forward to the days after your engagement when you are retelling the storry to your family and friends…it is not as much fun to tell a story about how you knew everything before it happened.

Let it happen to you, and let you boyfriend do this how he wants to.
