I’ve got lofty dreams when it comes to bridesmaids gifts, but I’ve got next to no money. My sincerest apologies to all of the etsy sellers whose ideas have inspired me, but who I will not be putting money in the pockets of.
Ok. So here goes.
This beautiful necklace (by TheCoutureBride) (among others) are inspiration for a crystal and pearl drop necklace for them to wear with their mismatched dresses.
Earrings such as these will look really lovely. 🙂 (by miabeads)
I plan to make these great flower rings (DIY tutorial from Martha) to adorn their hands. Cute, and easy!
And last but not least, the piece de resistance, a handmade clutch. Now, keep in mind, I’ve never made a clutch before, nor have I used a sewing machine, but I’ve got a year to figure it out, and a machine that was gifted to me quite a while ago that is just dying to be used.
I will buy a s pattern from Keykalou and make an envelope clutch. I will likely use taupe and white, a la this lovely clutch (by madebyhank)

And to jazz up the plain jane colors, I’ll add a pastel aqua silk flower, (a la Martha Stewart) off center on the flap closure.
Now, if they come out as lovely as I am imagining, I’ve just got to decide whether or not they are awesome enough to nix the flowers and have the girls carry their new purse down the aisle.
