It’s so pretty and unique!  Totally not my style, so I can’t comment on what should/should not be changed, but I say follow your gut.  Do YOU like it?  If so, keep it! 🙂

K I dont really like it.  Im sorry! Are you going for a rustic look?  I dont like the ribbon, or that green flower, or the white flowers.  I think it would be really cute with just burlap flowers.

I actually like the burlap flowers. I don’t really like the white ones (at least not paired with the burlap). I like the idea of the pink lace but something about that lace is throwing it off a little for me.

I like both types of flowers but I don’t really like them together. I would do all burlap or all of the white ones. If you make a third flower that is somewhat between them (not as rough as the burlap and not as a soft as the white flowers) it might make them go together more. Maybe add a pale pink flower in a different fabric?

I’m not a huge fan of the green thing on the handle but I do like the pearls.

I think it needs to be bigger IMO.  I’m also not a fan of the white flowers with the burlap, so I could get rid of those and do more burlap…or something else? I don’t like the pink lace either.  What are your wedding colors?  If pink is one of your colors I think pink flowers of some sort would look better than white.

Think the burlap flowers are cute though.  If you made the burlap flowers, can you make pink ones that have the same shape?

You’re right about the handle though, it does need to be shortened.

I actually like the flowers mixed together I think it’s cute! But I do think you need more of them and that it needs more “fullness” to it. The stem part also seems really long in comparison to the flowers… I would shorten it up. It might look better once you add mroe flowers, though.

I think the burlap flowers should be the star.  The white flowers are a little too freeform to mesh with the structured burlap ones.

I am crafty too, and I understand about being overly critical of your own creations!  I think the flowers look really awesome!  I do like the burlap and white flowers together, maybe consider some of these suggestions for a “elegant rustic” look:

Handle — Change the brown burlap on the handle to a an ivory or light beige satin.  The burlap handle and burlap flowers are a little too much together.  I think the pearls would be a nice closure for that.  I agree about shortening it.

Flowers — Can you make a couple more of both the burlap and white flowers in varying sizes to insperse in the bouquet?

Bling (!) — String some pearls on wire and have several (8-10) “strands” standing up out of the bouquet.

Pink and lace ribbon — The pink looks out of place, can you remove that and just have some lace by itself as “leaves” under the flowers…?

Greenery — I think some additional natural accents would look cool, maybe some small-leafed greenery or some delicate braches.

Good luck and have fun with it!

It’s not my style since I’m a fresh flower gal, but I Think the idea is cute. I agree with what some of the PP are saying. I think both flowers are fine since i like the element of different textures.. However I would showcase the burlap flowers more like yumiyumi said. Bring those outs more and have the white ones as accents. I’m not digging the pink either. If you want pink, I would do a different shade like a blush or dusty rose. I’d remove the green flower on the handle.

I don’t really like the pink lace, that just looks odd to me the way it is sticking out.

The burlap flowers are really pretty though.

It looks good, but this is what I would change:

    -shorten, like you said

-remove burlap handle and make it more of a cone piece insead of tube (burlaps don’t match… this bugs me for some reason)

-i don’t like how the pink ribbon looks, make do a nice satin ivory ribbon in the bottom and then for the bow, it would make it a lot more elegant

    – i would remove the pearl thingy. I just don’t like how it flows

but the flowers look great! You did those yourself??
