I’m pretty nervous that people are going to take my centerpieces the wrong way and think that we were just trying to save money on flowers. I am absolutely in love with paper flowers! I’ve been making them since I was a little girl and it was probably the first wedding decision that we made. We aren’t trying to make them look like real flowers, we just really want something beautiful and whimsical! With that said, do you think we accomplished our fun/whimisical/shabby/vintage-y mission?
The tables will be rounds of various sizes with Ivory linens and burlap overlays.

Awesome!! I definetly think you acheived whimsical and shabby-chic with these, great job!! I don’t think anyone will think you were aiming for real flowers, but something fun and different. Most know you well, so they probably know your love for paper flowers too.

In general, super cute; the only one that’s throwing me off is the tall vase. Something about the single bud stickout out of the middle seems strange.

The whole thing is absolutely gorgeous! I did not realize they were paper flowers until you mentioned it. May I ask how you make them, or could someone point me in the direction of the best tutorial?
These would also go brilliantly with our living room’s colour scheme 🙂
