- Wedding: June 2015
One of my friends came over yersteday, and we did the faux mercury glass finish on large mason jars for my cenrerpieces. It was pretty easy, but I only had do do 9, since we are having a small wedding. I did the basic 50/50 water and vinegar mix in a spray bottle, sprayed the water and then a THIN coat of the looking glass spray. Waited about 5 mins, tapped off the water with a paper towel, and repeated about 4-5 times. If ayoen has any questtions, let me know, and I share any info I have. They don’t all look the same, but it adds to the vintage look.
They dried fast, we went out to eat dinner, and then were able to add the ribbons and talbe numbers the same day.
