- Wedding: May 2013
I would like to think of myself as frugal and crafty, so of course I’m going to have a DIY wedding! My Fiance thinks I’m starting all of these projects way to early, but I’m a teacher and have the summers open so I’m getting as much done now as I can. I need opinions on what I have made so far, and don’t worry, you wont hurt my feelings!
We are getting married in May at the Mayowood Stone Barn in Rochester, MN. It will be an outdoor ceremony with reception in the barn. We are going for a rustic/vintage/country feel.
My fabric flower/broach bouquets
Centerpieces- Made from old Mason jars my mom had in the basement and my great-grandmas lace curtains! The tall ones will have flowers, the medium will have a candle and the smaller one…suggestions? Maybe nothing…
My card holder. Found this bird cage at Goodwill and painted it yellow, made this card sign and ta-da!
My Fiance loves the website “the chive” so I made this sign, probably will put it by the bar or something…
