I need some advice on my fabric bouquets that I have made. They aren’t quite looking like what I wanted. I am seriously tempted to trash the whole project and have real flowers instead. Anything I can add to make it look better? The yellow ones are the bridesmaids and the blue and yellow is mine.

I think the roses are the most successful (as in they look the most like roses) flower. You could do bouquets of just roses. I’ve never attempted this project though, so I don’t really have any tips or advice.

I like the color combination of the blue and cream, but I don’t like the way the blue flowers look. Could you do the same shape as the cream roses but in the color blue instead of that other flower?

@hopefloats: yes, the blue flowers looks like um… fabric. I would make them look like the other roses (white ones)

I love the cream bouquet-it looks the most real/vintage/romantic. I agree with maybe using another fabric for your blue ones. Or just adding in already made blue accent stems?

I have to say I LOVE the look of ALL the flowers.. It’s very “flowy” and almost like shabby chic.

I really like the first one much better. Why not make them all like that one and just change the stem wrap on yours to blue?

I think they look really different and cool. I don’t think they have to look EXACTLY like “real roses” because they aren’t! But I am a weirdo and had a weird bouquet so…yeah. 🙂 I like them.

Personally, I think it looks great. Soft and romantic with some added texture.

I also personally think it looks great!

I also love it. Would you be willing to post a tutorial as to how you did the cream roses? They look incredible!
