Just finished bouquets for my three bridesmaids and my bridal bouquet, and I am super happy (and relieved) with how they turned out!
I was browsing through Michael’s the other day and noticed that their entire fall floral collection was 50%-60% off. I had been on the fence about using fake flowers since they seemed to be just as expensive as real ones, but once I did some quick math, I realized this was my chance.
The entire project, including flowers, wire, floral tape, and ribbon came to about $70. I already had wire cutters and a glue gun. I would say I spent about 4 hours getting everything just right.
It was totally fun and rewarding, and I feel special pride that I get to walk down the aisle holding something I created myself.
Post your DIY bouquets below!

So pretty! I’m using those same dark purple flowers in my centerpieces and similar ones in my bouquets. My aunt is doing them all, but she showed me this one today. Some of the greenery is a little too long for my liking, but this is pretty close to how it’ll look.

Love the dark red and purple together!

Those bouquets are so pretty! I love the colors! I think creating the bouquet yourself definitely adds a personal touch to your wedding! I plan to use fake flowers for my bouquets as well since I’m not a huge fan of real flowers anyways and it would be cheaper if I made my own bouquet!

Aw yay! So glad I’m not the only one DIY my bouquets! I actually just decided to do this yesterday when I was out and about and came across artificial flowers that are EXACTLY the colour I want for my wedding!
I bought a bunch and still need to put it together, my photographer friend took pics and they came out beautiful in photos so that settled it for me!
I am yet to buy flowers for my bridesmaids, I will be going this weekend to look for some 🙂

they do look nice; I am glad you are happy. Though I admit they are a distant second to real flowers. but for a diy project – excellent job.

I know this is an old thread, but here is my bridal bouquet. I used silk flowers from Hobby Lobby and blue and purple wooden flowers that I ordered from Etsy. I’m impressed yours only took you 4 hours to make! Mine took much longer! I love your use of fall colors and your cascading pieces 🙂 I’m glad you saved money on yours. Mine wasn’t that cheap to make (even with 50% off flowers) but I’m really allergic to real flowers, so I knew I had to go the fake flower route!

I wish my homemade bouquet came out like that. I started with paper flowers, and really loved it, but once I added greenery it looked like shit. I am lucky that the florist that is doing my centerpieces (included with my package) is really flexible and understood my budget. so I was able to get all of the flowers for my wedding for under $350
