Very nice! I so badly wanted to use ostrich feathers in mine but it was just way to expensive.

I think it needs more sparkle.  Go to http://www.orientaltrading.com and do a search for crystal beads.  You can also get beads in silver and they are very cheap.

Also, I think you did okay on the vase, but it needs a little more.  How about a nice black ribbon around the center (about 1-1/2″) and then glue on a glitter broach that you could get for around $2 at a craft store like Michael’s.  I don’t think you need the bowls here.  Use them perhaps as a grouping for your escort table or on a table for your entrance with a photo of you and your hubby to be along with your sign-in book.  Use instead simple tapers.  It’s more elegant and you should be able to get these from the .99 cents store.

I think you did a great job- and very clever too. The vase already has a pattern- you don’t need to add anything.

I would definitely not be using tapers. The last thing you need is an open flame at the same height as  the feather boas. Can you spell d-i-s-a-s-t-e-r?
