I really wanted a cute pair of flats for our wedding day, for the reception. There was lots of choose from, however, I didn’t like the price tag! Plus, I wanted them to be the slipperish type of flats and not the rigid ones (if that makes sense).
I bought these flats on clearance at SPRING for $15 (sweet!) They came like this:
Those dangly bits were not my style, however, I did enjoy the rhinestone petals. My mom was over and said ‘why don’t you cut those off and put something else there?’. I instantly thought about pearls, as I am wearing a beautiful pearlvnecklace on our wedding day:
Anywho, I have been on the lookout for the perfect ‘centerpiece’ if you will, for my shoes. And yesterday at Michaels I found the perfect piece! Now, these were like $12.99, and I needed 2. So of course I used 2-50% off coupons!
So I cut off all the dangly bits:
HUGE improvement already if you ask me….. Then I glued on the pieces with some E6000.
Super hard to take a good picture because they are very sparkly.
I love them and cannot wait to wear them!
