I have decided to make our own flower girl basket because I can’t see paying $25 and up for a basket for 1 day. I have started it and still have to add decoration and little sparkle/bling to it to fit our “Black and White with a touch of color/bling-sparkle” wedding. Here’s what i have so far….
Please excuse the mess in the back 🙂
The bottom looks crummy right now. I’m going to redo the bottom of it, but as of now this is how it looks….
Let me know your opinions :).
Also, for those of you that voted on my other STD poll, we have chosen the one. It’s the one hardly anyone voted for but we love it :). I created it from scratch myself :). Here it is…
Thanks ladies and gents (if there are any lingering on here ;op)!

I think that looks very good! You did great. I think if you added a few ribbon details or some flowers that would finish it up nicely!

@SandyThePoet: I am actually going Friday since I have Veterans Day off (after my free yummy meal at a restaurant since I’m a Marine veteran) to go get either ribbon, tulle, or flowers or a combo of both to add to it. I am also thinking of having our initial with our date embroidered on the ribbon that I’m going to put around it :). Btw, thanks for the input! :oD

This is so cute, I am planning to make my flower girl basket…how did you attach the handle?

@AC101412: The handle was already attached. It was a silver wicker basket that I covered in poly satin and added embelishments :).
