I love them! The colors are fantastic. And such a creative idea using a staircase post.

I think it looks a bit odd with the 4 feathers, IMO. Things look visually more appealing and balanced in odd numbers like 3s or 5s. I’d just that a shot:)

I think they look great – just make sure they aren’t so top  heavy that the tip over if a guest bumps the table!

I think the flower portion looks great.  I love the colors, texture and fullness.  I’m not crazy about the stair banister though.. I immediately thought of a stair banister when I saw it.  Maybe if it were a little shorter?  Or had some molding at the bottom so it doens’t actually look like flowers balancing on a banister.

How tall are they? It’s really hard to tell with no point of reference.

Is there anything at the table level for visual interest?

You did a fabulous job with all the flowers. I would tuck the peacock feathers down into the flower arrangement. They look a bit off sticking out so much.

I’d also cut the feathers down and not make them so prominent. The flowers look beautiful as does the whole arrangement. Are you sure you need to use the feathers? Can you tuck them in around the bottom somehow?

@JenniHynes:  I love the colors!!  I agree with BabyCarat – 3 or 5 feathers but other than that I love it.

I do have a question – you said most of these were paper flowers…are the light green ones with the pearls in the middle paper?  And if they are, did you make them yourself?  I want to do something like but I haven’t figured out how they are made.  Would you mind sharing how you did them?

@JenniHynes:  very cool and creative! love those diy flowers!

Are you bolting them down? they look top heavy and like a little table bump would send them crashing…maybe saw the post and glue/nail it to the base?
