I can finally share the photos of my invitations with you guys! I can say they were definitely a labor of love.
I made the pocketfolds from 8.5 x 11 cardstock found at my local Office Depot
I calculated all of the heights for my inserts and my cousin helped me with the design aspect. 3 sheets of 8.5 x 11 cardstock gave me two complete invitations and 4 monograms. I plan to use the extra monograms for my programs.
The blue invitation mat is text weight paper, which I also used for the belly bands. Also found at Office Depot
The inserts were printed in the copy center at my job on natural pearl cardstock. This saved me from buying ink and ordering the cardstock. They also cut them for free!
Total cost for 100 invites, envelopes, glue and my paper cutter (bought with a 40% coupon from michael’s) was just about $75! My real savings came from not having to pay shipping costs for my supplies.
