First up, the invites:
reception card and tie:
the invite all put together:
The card box…. I must say, these photos do not do it justice. It was made on three different size round boxes.
The pillow was made from the train of my mother’s wedding dress. She and my dad are divorced. She offered the dress to me stating that I could do whatever I wanted with it… knowing that I could not and would not wear it. She has no sentimental value to it anymore and she was the one who actually cut up the dress and helped me make this…
We are having about 15 kids at our wedding and I was looking for ideas to keep them busy… after spending a couple of hours looking at other peoples ideas and books, this is what I came up with myself…. it is just a photo of the pages not put together yet… which would just be fold in half and staple with my long arm stapler…
and lastly, my Guest bookS… yes, books. I have made 20 of these bad boys. I hate when you first get to a reception, standing around waiting for people to hurry up and find their place cards and sign the guest book. By the time I get to this point, I just sign my stupid name and move on. I wanted people to be able to actually write a little something in mine, so I have made smaller books that have 10 pages each… one for each table, hoping that people will take the time throughout the night to write some words of wisdom or well wishes other than just their names…

You’ve done a REALLY nice job! Everything looks sleek, and clean. I like how you didnt go all crazy with patterns and colors like a lot of brides. Simple, sleek and clean is always nicer.

I love it all – great job. Did you come up with the images for the activity for your book on your own or did you get it somewhere?
I’ve never seen anyone make individual guest books like that – it’s a genius idea

@Tinaspoon, I looked at other peoples examples and templates borrowed things I liked and google searched for the rest till I found stuff that I really liked and just pieced it all together.
@DaLadyA, I am into card making so I made a template from stuff I had laying around… it was done with just plain black and white card stock from ACMoore, my paper cutter and a corner punch. The total costs for the invites were super cheap. I got the paper with coupons and it was less than $10 for the paper to make 80 invites, place card holders and the guest books… and another 20 for the envelopes. I lucked out!
