I decided to DIY our Save The Dates because I (wrongly) thought it would be cheaper and because I couldn’t find anything premade that I liked 100%. In the end, they cost just under $100 for 25 cards. If anyone is interested, I can provide a detailed breakdown. I love looking at other people’s DIY projects on the boards, especially the paper, so I figured I’d share. Hopefully I give someone inspiration!
They’re scratch off save the dates, which I know have been done, but not by anyone in my circle so I’m excited about them. 🙂

Those are super cute!!!! I attempted some DIY scratch-off stuff but failed miserably. I love yours!

Thank you! I bought the scratch-off stickers from someone on Etsy– I did not attempt to make that part myself, or else I’d have failed miserably too! 🙂

Cute! I love that idea, and I looove your envelopes!
(PS – I see you’re inviting someone from Kalamazoo!)

@vorpalette: Thank you!
And yes! It’s actually where I’m from, originally. 🙂

Very cute! My friend made scratch-offs using the Martha Stewart paint method but ended up spilling juice on the whole batch right after she had finished lol. Honestly, the stickers look much nicer than the paint. A lot cleaner

Thank you all! I’m so happy with how they turned out! 🙂 Hope my guests like them too. And FutureMrsWeston, I feel so bad for your friend! I saw the Martha Stewart paint tutorial and decided it was definitely too time-intensive for me. I’d have wanted to rip my hair out if I’d spilled anything on these puppies after all that work!

Neat idea with the scratch off. And I like your envelopes!

Thanks ladies! I got all the paper from paperpresentation.com. The envelopes I chose are quite plain, but they have tons of pretty liner options (mine are gold leaf metallic).
