I just wanted to share the ceremony backdrop that I DIYed with the help of my parents. I’m really happy with how it turned out! The only things that will be different on the day of the wedding is that the top of the curtains won’t be so close to the middle, and they’ll be adjusted better to hide all of the bars. I feel very accomplished haha. It was also very inexpensive to make (you can save a ton of money on a sequin ‘backdrop’ by buying a rectangular tablecloth instead and sewing it into a curtain), at least compared to buying something similar.

Gorgeous! Where did you get the tablecloth?

I got it from Efavormart. It was the least expensive place to get one. The backdrop is about 6.5 by 8.5 feet, and I used a 90×132 tablecloth for it.

We didn’t take any pictures in production, but it’s basically this, scaled up and with two identical ‘layers’ with 6 inches between them to hang the drapings: http://www.dandelionsonthewall.com/2012/04/diy-photography-backdrop-stand-pvc-pipe.html
