Sorry to post stuff that’s not really finished, but my fiance is not exactly the most exciting person to show my creations to! His reaction is always "That’s nice."
Anyway, I posted some projects I started on Flickr
Ok, to be fair my fiance LOVES the origami lilies and he has agreed to help making them. Ha little does he know its going to take AGES! The hanging poms, I had trouble with these at first because I had the proportions all wrong! But I like how they look now. Are any of you other brides making your own decorations? We have a tent and I am starting to fret about how we will hang everything, because the ceiling of the tent is so high! I guess we’ll figure something out!

The lillies are really pretty! Are you going to make them into centerpieces or something? I would love to see how you’re going to go about it!

We’re not actually sure yet what we’ll do with the Lilies. We’re having real flowers for the center pieces, so I was thinking about getting LONG branches and bunching them up to put either on the poles of the tent or… somewhere else! We haven’t gotten a chance to really see which tent we will be getting, so once we see that I am sure it will inspie us a bit more. Any suggestions are welcome!

Are you planning to fluff all your poms pre-wedding? I kinda gave up on the idea because I didn’t think anyone else would feel comfortable fluffing and I couldn’t figure out how to transport them without smushing them!
