To go with our Alice in Wonderland theme.. we’re doing test tubes filled with loose leaf tea! We chose chocolate chili chai after it was a winner on our website and facebook polls.
I’m so excited, can’t wait for them to be done… here are a few pics so far… we’ve also ordered labels (circular) that say our wedding date and Thank you for sharing this day with us.
The front of the tags you see in the pic say “Drink Me!” and the back lists the ingredients of the tea.
What do you think? They still need some polishing/finishing touches… but this is the first real labor of love for the wedding. FI filled the test tubes with tea, I attached the labels to the corks!

Haha those are so cute! I love them. I think they fit in great with your theme and they are so different.

I’m trying to think of a better way to get the ribbon on… my fingers are super glued 🙁

What about a thumb tacs or straight pins to hold the ribbon? Just push it straight through the ribbon and down into the cork.
I really love the favor! Its super cute.

I normally hate favors, but this is actually really clever- I like it!

thanks ladies 🙂 I love them. so excited…. we actually decided to order those heat seal things.. you know like the plastic wrap kinda? to seal the cork and test tube.. just in case. AND that means a bit less gluing on my part. YAY!
@nikkialys: I tried, the cork is pretty tough! would kill my thumbs to do that x200 :S

Awesome! An alice in wonderland theme would be such fun!
I’ll be doing a similar favour, i’m going to do ‘love potions’ in little bottles like that. I wanted to do an enchanted forest theme, but I don’t think the we can find a venue that will work well for it =(

I actually really like that idea. When i clicked on the thread i was thinking it was going to be strange, but it totally works.
