Hey bees just wanted to share this with ya’ll. It was never on my to do list, but when I saw these packets (MS vellum confetti packets), my creative mind started doing its magic. For a pack of $20 it was only $2 (from Big Lots), so I said what the heck, it’ll be a quick easy project for me. I just used my cricut (alphalicious cartridge), scrap paper I already had, and a corner and heart punch. The words “For Your Tears of Joy” was printed on clear address labels.
My plan was just to put these wrapped with the program or set in a basket at the ceremony entrance. What do you think?

looks great!
and… guess what i was doing tonight?? DIY hankie packets! i actually used glassine envelopes, plus vintage cloth hankies — with tons of cool old flower prints on ’em — that i got off ebay. If i had my camera here, i’d show mine, too. (mine are stamped, “open in case of tears.”)

Thanks bees for the wonderful comments! I’m such a crier too…I’ll probably have to stuff a couple in my dress (I wish my dress had pockets..haha).
sleepylittlesailor: Please post pictures of yours, I’d love to see it. It sounds like a really nice idea, I like the vintage concept of yours.
Ireland: I made about 60 of them and they didn’t take long to make. My cricut did all the cutting and I just glued/taped them on. I actually did it at one of my scrapbook nights with my girlfriends, so maybe about 3 hours.
