Between now and July we are going to get all the invites done and ready ( embossing, stamping, cutting) and then in August we are going to do the favors and the bridesmaid flowers (real touch!).

Other than the centerpieces (which are going to be fresh tulips) and putting together the favor cards (lottery tickets) we will be done.

Still toying with the idea of diy-ing the food.

My DIY list:

all the flowers (paper, except for a few real yellow roses to honor my mother who passed or past?) but the paper flowers I have started…  i will include a photo

decorations including stage/dancefloor ramada, bridges, etc (if you search for me, you will see my venue)   all in homemade paper flowers, lanterns, vases, pew cones, you name it, I’m diying it 🙂

will embellish  STD and  invitiations I order from anns bridal bargains ( its like 40 bucks for 75 of them… i will probalby order 100 for 20 dollars more.)

vases (in decorated tin cans, water bottles etc…  Park doesn’t allow glass.)

candy bar (water bottles mostly, soda bottles, perhaps some decorative tin cans, obviously decorated and embellished)

cheesecake bar (have cheesecake and have the toppings “bar”)

I was going to order paper lanterns, but, i have made a few really big tissue paper flowers (napkins from the dollar store) and these will work beautifully and fine)

decorate my space (although I wanna hire someone to take it down)

all the centerpieces for “family style seating” which means long table scapes.

bouquet (hubbie not having a bouteniere)

I feel like i am forgetting something… but i have alot of DIY on my plate… on a very limited budget at a venue that does not allow glass!  (its in a park)

I am just glad I have 2 years to do all this.  I do not know how all you DIYers do this in like anything less than a yearl and a half… honestly, you have my respect.

if you are planning on doing ANYTHING diy… GET STARTED NOW! LOL…  thats all i can say.

Oh God … Too many DIY things to do, and now I’m kind of kicking myself!

– Letterpressing entire stationary suite

– Designing menus, programs, escort cards

– Stringing three row pearl bracelet

– Building two chalkboard – Bride & Groom signs for aisle

– Building “Wedding” sign for entry onto farm’s dirt road

– Building trays for escort cards

– Designing labels for 12″ vinyl records to be used as guestbook

– Building 2 frames for 2 12″ vinyl reccords – in lieu of guest book

I think that’s it … I hope that’s it …
