    Save-the-Dates

    Menus

    Programs

    ETC.

2. Favors (cookies or pie pops)

3. Wedding pies (instead of cake)

Oh my god, I’m doing everything but the cake.. what ISN’T on my list??!

-STDs/invites

-menu cards for the buffet

-“I do” sign

-“mr & mrs” signs for our chairs

-about 500 paper pinwheels and flowers

-5 bouquets and 7 bouts of paper flowers, leaves, pinwheels

-the food (a bbq spread, veggie table with a bunch of different salads, fruit trays, a sandwich bar)

-desserts (I’m thinking 6-7 types of bite sized desserts, like mini cookies, brownie bites, cupcakes, tarts)

-favors (not entirely sure yet, but possibly sugar cookie pops shaped like flowers and pinwheels… can you spot a theme yet? lol)

-altar decorations – something like an archway or possibly a curtain made of strands of ribbon as a background

-flowers -small and medium sized terra cotta pots with a random mix of home-grown flowers (black-eyed susans especially)

-“wedding” sign for driveway

And probably more as I get further in planning

Yay!  Today I knocked out the 2 wreaths!  And I cut all the tissue paper I need for the remaining 6 pomanders and 2 cones I need, too.

WOOHOO!!!!!

I may actually get all this stuff done 🙂

My DIY list is short so far:

Peacock Feather Fascinators for Bridesmaid or Best Man

Peacock Feather shoe clips for Bridesmaid or Best Man

Any other bees who have tried these? Any advice?

After a productive 2 weekends… I only have the following left:

  • Make some more yarn pom poms
  • Attach table number punches onto placecards once all RSVPs are in and seating is finalized
  • Signage
  • Dessert/Candy bar set up
  • Kid’s kits if we don’t nix… I have a feeling we’ve got too many coming to make this a tolerable project.
  • Bunting for the top of our wedding cake I decided to add
  • Making I Do on the bottoms of my shoes (that I forgot to add to the original list!)
  • And tissue paper napkin rings if I decide to add these

Actually seems a little manageable with 48 days to go 🙂
