I have never been a fan of traditional wedding inviations. A little too boring for me. I wanted something unique and different that reflected us and Austin (fiance is from another state so a lot of our guests have never been to Austin) so I created a double sided, oversized card.

Oh my goodness, I just saw this – We’re date twins! You’re the first one I’ve seen on the boards with Nov 2nd! Love your invites, they are super cute!

@ P2TheDoodle: Yay for Friday weddings!!! I always knew I wanted a Friday evening wedding. I love the idea of getting married and then still having the whole weekend to celebrate with family. I’m also a private events coordinator for the University of Texas so I had to plan my wedding around the Texas Longhorn’s football season!
@ subjunctivitis: Thanks! They are our engagement photos. The only reason I really wanted them was so I could use them for our invitations 🙂

@IoSonoAmata: Love it!! Very creative and uniquely yours. I would change the pattern design at the back and just use a solid color from the front maybe a shade of blue. I say that because the back and front don’t seem cohesive. Beautiful job!

adorable! love how your outfits match colors from the Austin sign.
I agree with the previous poster, i think the damask pattern is pretty but doesn’t match, I might use stripes or something else so it fits together more.
