Random, but I find this hilarious.
I love singing. I love singing loudly and proudly. I do it often. Every time I do, my dog runs to the rug in the living room and cries, nay, wails. He is not trying to sing along, it is definitely a cry of an animal in distress!
Any other funny stories about pets?

hahaha, good thing my dog is deaf! Mine doesn’t like it when Fiance and I kiss- he runs over and jumps up so he can get some action too.

My cat gets upset when I raise my voice… She’ll run over and start sniffing me and rubbing against me to make sure that I’m okay and calm me down. Its sweet!

My kitty Smudge also hates it!! She has seriously come up and slapped me before. Mr. D almost died laughing. So now when she does something naughty, I scoop her up and sing at the top of my lungs.

I used to live with cats that loved my singing haha! Whenever I’d sing they’d come in to the room and nuzzle me.
Our dog is probably helping our marriage. Whenever we have a tiff, he comes running up and jumps on us and looks at us with the saddest eyes lol… it actually deters us from fighting, or at least forces us to talk it out calmly lol.

LMAO!! My dog runs around and begins rubbing her ears on the floor whenever I sing. I call it dancing. My SO calls it an attempt to cover her ears and block out the noise.
I think I’m right.

My parent’s golden retriever is deathly afraid of toilet paper. We have no idea why! Maybe she hit the roll in the bathroom with her tail and it unwound… We’ll never know. She likes my singing, though 🙂

I had a cat who LOVED when I sang! She especially loved my “fake opera” where I would sing such classics as “No More Rice Krispies” and “Oh Stella Dora, We love Your Cookies.” Everytime I would pause to catch my breath, she would meow to fill in the gaps!

When we were kids, my brother jumped in the pool and our dog thought he was drowning and jumped in after him! I guess I should also mention that this dog was tiny (toy poodle), so I’m not quite sure how he would have rescued my brother had he actually been drowning, but it was adorable nonetheless.

@Regina Phalange: My dog also is afraid we’re drowning anytime anyone (or another dog) is in the pool. However, he’s wayyy too chicken to jump in, so he stands at the edge of the pool and barks as loud as possible. If we’re moving around in the pool, he’ll follow us on the edge going nuts. He can’t really be outside if we’re swimming for this reason.. he won’t stop barking till we’re out!

@AllieANT: Haha, my mom’s dog does that too 🙂

@Mrs. Doily: I’m glad I’m not the only one!
@lovesweetlove: Definitely dancing.

Fiance and I are huge college football fans. When either/both of us start freaking out at the tv about games, she comes to stand right in front of us and stares. Just…stares….
