what are the weird things that your dogs love to eat?
two big ones in my three dog household are bananas and jelly beans. gabby would kill for a banana and dudleys ears perk up if he even hears the word jelly bean in casual conversation, haha.

Our upstairs neighbors have a German Shepherd who will take your arm off for a bite of cauliflower.

My dog eats anything. My cat ate Oreo Pudding the first night we had him (he knocked the bowl out of my fiance’s hand) and continues to eat lettuce/leaves so I guess he’s the one with weird preferences.

My 15 year old shih tzu goes absolutely bonkers over popcorn. And my cats used to as well when they were younger, now their tastes have evolved into things that I’m not willing to share with them!

I love Germand Sheperd Dogs! My dad’s GSD loves to eat toads, she’ll catch them and swallow them whole (YUCK!). She also loves peanut butter! My sister’s GSD has eaten his own feces, we were concerned but he no longer does it. He’ll eat grass too. Oh and my sister brushes their teeth and the dogs love the taste of toothpaste (the vet okayed it).

@MandaMack: I’m sure he’d eat peas if he could. He likes fruits and vegetables that he’s allowed to have and actually snubs things like potato chips so I guess he’s a healthy eating cat (Although he’s gotten pretty chubby lately).

I have three cats and the only thing they’ve eaten (or tried) that’s weird is our aloe vera plants, so now I have to keep the plants in my room and close the door.

@MandaMack: Heck yes it is! I started buying them doggie ice cream, but Fiance put a stop to that real quick. At over $4 a box, it would get a little crazy. Someone told me to use plain yogurt & freeze it, that dogs love that too.
Our dogs got too use to the word “cookie”. FI & I couldn’t use it in normal convo or the dogs would go crazy. We started using the spanish word for cookie, but the darn dogs caught onto that one real quick too. Now we have to say “biscuit”.
