JackiBean:  Cats ALWAYS “see ghosts”  Run from room to room, jump at shit. LOL That’s happened twice with my dog, he never barks and twice he’s barked at nothing.

Supposedly animals and babies are susceptible to the paranormal. I’d say he did see something but wouldn’t read much into it,unless it happens more frequently

I know this is gonna make me sound batshit crazy, but when I was little, like really little, about one year old, I used to see white and red orbs. I used to tell my mom the white ones were good and the red ones were bad. I have really good memory and I remember this. Of course, I don’t see them anymore. My vision was always good as well. And, sadly, my imagination isn’t so wonderful. I wasn’t creative enough to imagine them. I don’t know what they were. Just that I saw red and white orbs and I thought they represented good and evil. At age one. When I could barely talk and had no idea what good and evil was really. That’s the weird part.

LoL  my dog Butters stares at nothing sometimes and it looks like he’s following it around. Sometimes I think he’s seeing a ghost other times I think he’s nuts. One time my cat was playing with something in the air. Like if I was playing with one of those feather wands. He was really freaking out and even ran into the walls a couple times. But I honestly think the mediation we we’re using for his ears were making him hallucinate. obviously I stoped his treatment and Milo went back to normal. Lol  Is your dog named after HP? If so awsome!

I definitely think animals can sense these things, just like there are people who are “sensitive”.

There might have been a mouse or something in the wall that he could hear/smell that you could not. Dogs don’t rely on their sight anywhere near as much as humans do, especially older dogs. That’s my best guess.

we have a ghost in our house and my cats are always seeing things. it used to freak me out but i’m pretty used to it now. they would be sleeping or cleaning themselves and all of a sudden they’d lock their eyes towards a random area and just stare. they’d follow with their head and then after a while, look away.

JackiBean:  last night i got a little freaked too actually!

My dog was laying by the screen door i had open and all of a sudden she started growling, which she does sometimes when she can hear the dogs or neighbors next door – but no one was making any noise. I dismissed it as maybe i just didn’t hear it, but i shut the door and watched tv.

when my show was done i went to put her leash on, to which she got up all excited tail wagging and stood by the door. When i opened it…she didn’t walk outside. She just stood at the door. So i kept telling her to go and she wouldnt move. I stepped outside and she started pulling and walking backwards. she would NOT go outside and i have never had her do that at home. Sure maybe new places she doesnt know or if there are crowds of people, but never at home.

It was just kind of weird and i got a little freaked. I was scared to reach out and shut the door as i thought maybe someone was out there! In any case i shut the door and we laid down. She had no issues going out this morning.

alpinebride:  You don’t sound batshit crazy!! To be honest I have always “felt” something. I see blue and white/soft yellow orbs….Blue is usually seen with my right eye and white/yellow orbs with my left…I don’t know how to explain it but thats just what I see. My eye sight is fine, I go to the eye doctor….They are good spirits and they always seem to appear when I need comfort or guidance..

My dog Max that I grew up with used to just stare in our kitchen. And my FI’s dog Frank used to stand in between the doorway from the livingroom to the kitchen and growl and stare…Frank would also stare at the door..we would try to get his attention but he just wouldn’t respond. I believe EVERYONE and EVERYTHING is capable of experiencing spirits you just have to be open.

JackiBean:  Not crazy.  My Darling Husband and one of my really good friends have seen ghosts on a regular basis.  I saw one once.  I agree with pp’s that it’s not a big deal if it doesn’t happen often.

JackiBean:  While I totally believe animals can sense paranormal things, I think it’s more likely you have a small animal in your walls. Especially given that his eyes followed “it” up the walls and across the ceiling. My dog does this because there is a squirrel in my wall 🙁

alpinebride:  I kept seeing a blue orb the day I found out my brother passed away (a few hours before finding out). I believe you.
