Good for you switching doctors.  You should be able to talk to your doctor and feel that they are LISTENING to you, and HELPING you.  Good luck 🙂

@nhoh:  What a bimbo. I’m glad you’re advocating for yourself and seeing a different Doctor. She’s going to be no help at all.

Good for you for switching! Obviously she’s not listening to you. How frustrating!

Sometimes it amazes me how some people are doctors.

I guess it just goes along with the saying:

“What do you call the person who graduates last in their med school class?”  “Doctor.”

That’s so frustrating! I remember reading in TCOYF that some doctors still believe that all women ovulate on day 14, and I guess she’s proof of that. How can a doctor truly believe that ALL patients have exactly the same cycle?! Good for you for looking elsewhere.

So glad you are seeing a new doctor! Maybe you should send your old practice a copy of TCOYF!!! They ALL need to read the part that states you can ovulate anywhere from day 8-32 depending on your cycle length!!!

Uh! How frustrating! I had my annual appointment yesterday and told her how I just starting temping. She told me not to bother doing that because it is outdated now that they have good OPK. I explained what all the things charting show that OPK don’t but she just thought they are really inaccurate… I’m still going to chart. I otherwise like her a lot but come on!
