I’m new here to this site, and was happy to find you guys on my desperate search to find my dream dress at an affordable price. The thing is, I fell in love with a style of dress which is nowhere to be found in my country (the Netherlands). It’s a mixture of the Pronovias Kaiden dress and one from Le Spose di Gio.
Both of them are way over my budget, and above that, Le Spose di Gio is only sold in Italy and UK. But now I stumbled accross the posts about Jasmine’s bridal shop, and it sounds as a perfect solution. The costs could probably be reduced, and I can maybe integrate the top of the Pronovias dress which I like, with the bottom of the Spose di Gio dress (I like the A line of the SdG more than the shape of the Pronovias).
My questions to you are first of all:
– Do you think Jasmine’s can reproduce a dress with the same soft, flowy, airy feeling as both these dresses, and integrate the two parts that i like into 1 dress?
– Would it look crazy to combine two dresses into 1?
– In your experience, how long would the JBS process take, from asking a quote to delivery of dress, and how much will it cost?
– Would such a dress fit my body type (I’m a European size 40, which is a US size 8 or 10 I think, and I have relatively big hips and smaller breast, which is somewhat the ‘pear’ type probably)? I will of course try similar shapes of dresses in the coming weeks, but will not be able to try the dream dress of course.
Pronovias (I love the top):
Le spose di Gio (I love the skirt):
I’d be happy to hear your thoughts. Thanks!!
