Hi ladies – I bought my dress in June I think it was, but didn’t want to post pics til I fit in it well, it was too tight, now it fits pretty much perfectly as I lost 14 lbs, will only need to get it shortened and maybe a couple other things. Btw, the beading is way prettier in person, and these pics are with a camera phone.
The first picture my leg it bent which makes it look a little more flared, the second picture my leg is straight. Do yout think I should either get it altered so it’s more mermaidlike or buy a mermaid crinoline so it puffs out more or just leave it? TIA!
Also, I think I’ll be wearing my hair half way up instead of how I had it in the pics.

Gorgeous. Love the sparkly sash!

Very pretty! I like it how it is. I think that with crinoline/alterations it would also look nice. It just depends on the look you want!

That silhouette looks great on you…fits like a glove!! I think a trumpet crinoline would give it a lovely shape!

jumping on the bandwagon and voting for a mermaid crinoline. i have a trumpet dress but there wasn’t enough fullness on the bottom, until the crinoline was added. good luck, and you look amazing!

@SapphireSun: Thanks for the comment! It actually isn’t a sash, it’s beading on the dress, just wanted to clarify, and the pictures don’t show how pretty it is at all, oh well.
@BBee: Well I’m the type that fluctuates, but now that I’m 30 apparently it’s harder to lose than it used to be, boo to that:) But, I did actually cut out a lot of carbs, in the last couple months, I really do think that helps. I also jogged on the treadmill 4-5 times per week for 40 min. Oh and doing a biggest loser contest with $400 up for grabs not to mention wanting to fit into my dress was also quite the motivator:)
Thanks everyone, very nice to hear! I bought a reception dress too to change into halfway into the reception and to go out after (it’s in Vegas), but now I don’t know if I’ll want to change out of this dress at all!
I’m still up in the air on the crinoline, I’ll have to go try one on with it to see how it looks.
