I tried to find my dress for about 6 months until I finally visited my mother in FL and there was a shop that had it.  I tried on about 30 dresses in the meantime, but couldn’t stop wondering what this one would look like on me.  I am absolutely glad I waited, I love love love love my dress:o)

It’s nice to see other Allure Brides. My gown is Allure Couture C152. This dress is amazing, and I can’t wait to wear it!

@D.Marie: I am an Allure bride. I am not sure what design number it is but it is very plain and rouched, with beading at the top. It is very form fitting.

This is my dress! Im making into sweetheart (you can see in the photo the attempt). Also I am changing the flower detail on the side to a different set of flowers (The one in the very front is the new flower, there will be about 5 of them instead of the ones provided). I am contemplating raising the part where the dress fits to be about 4 inches higher so it is more of a trumpet than a mermaid (The picture of me from the front I had pulled the dress up so that it would fit more like a trumpet. In reality it is fitted down about 4 inches more). What are your thoughts? Oh, and I’m adding 2 feet to the train!

@chittychittybanebane:

yes i did. when it came in in my size it did not look good on me. the it clung in areas that i have problem spots after my weight loss (down 169lbs!) so the salon was wonderful and picked a beautful gown better for my body type 🙂   cant wait to see your wedding pictures!

To stop myself from going even more indecisive, I refrained from visiting other websites and looking at other designers dresses….

So I went onto AllureBridal website and nearly had a heart attack when I saw this dress…it’s style number 8680. Does anyone know how much it would cost?
