I got to try on my dress for the first time ever yesterday! I ordered the Isadora Marie without ever trying it on (I had only tried on the Isadora Ann and Isadora). My mom and grandma came with me and we got lots of pictures (: It was so much fun! I didn’t want to take it off and I just wanted to take it home with me and wear it around the house and basically wear it everywhere haha.
First time I looked in the mirror with it on – no dress regret here! I was worried it wouldn’t have as many gems and lace as the Isadora Ann and would have a less embellished skirt like the Isadora…thankfully for me, it looked exactly like the Isadora Ann – just bigger.
I was so excited to walk around with my dress on! One of the brides ended up trying on the Isadora Ann after seeing my dress and I got so many compliments from other brides! It was such an awesome experience (: You can see the consultant pulling the Isadora Ann for the bride in the background.
This one is my favourite (: I can’t believe how “bride-y” I look haha!
This isn’t the completed veil “look” but this picture shows a lot of the detail that the train has so I figured I would include it (:
I ended up going with a custom three layer continuous/circular veil (: I loved the single layer chapel length veil, but then my grandma added a shorter two layer veil so that I could see how a blusher would look. We all loved it! It looked so elegant and fluffy and was exactly what I had been wanting. We ended up ordering the shorter veil and longer veil on the same comb so that it would look exactly like when I tried it on (otherwise the layers would have been separate and it wouldn’t give the same shape as the continuous/circular veil that I had fallen in love with).
Long layer + shorter layer + blusher (it will be even more poofy when the blusher is flipped back!! yay!)
