Looks great! Where did you order it from and how much…. if you don’t mind my asking? :+)

So pretty. You look perfectly dainty. There is no way you should change it for a mermaid…or anything else. It’s a winner!

I ordered from BHLDN, they hv a 30days return policy but they do have a $75 restocking fee for wedding dresses.
thank you Claire for your suggestions 😄 My family and I do have very different tastes. My first vision for my wedding dress was actually a fitted mermaid or trumpet style dress, which I tried on my first day of dress shopping, but after that I felt those styles didn’t flatter my body type at all and I never looked at those styles since. I’ve been going dress shopping by myself all this time so my gamily has never seen my dress until now. Now that I’m wondering if it was the mermaid/trumpet style that I felt didn’t look good on me or the particular dresses I tried on. thanks I’ll follow your suggestions to try on more fitted dresses and see what happens

thank you so much! You’re awesome. I like that Stella York dress. i don’t like strapless dressEs on me. another dress that I love is the pronovias atelier vintage dress but out of my budget http://www.pronovias.com/us/wedding-dresses/dress-vintage-neckline-sweetheart-sexy

I wouldn’t dream of returning anything that looked that beautiful on me.

I think it looks absolutely gorgeous on you!
If you’re not 100% convinced and you still have a bit of time before you need to send it back then I definitely agree with PPs that you should try some more fitted trumpet or mermaid style dresses in a local boutique, if you can. I suspect that this is your dress and that you know from your previous try-ons that the more fitted shape isn’t your favourite, but now is the only time where you can explore that without any restrictions.

I think it is lovely and when fitted will be perfect. However, I do agree with a pp who said that the very deep plunge neckline is not its best feature , not quite in keeping with the youthful delicate look of the dress overall .
