As weird as this may seem- what if you had them custom dye it the belt- it’s fabric so it might be possible? Maybe a paler hue of a wedding color? Then you could match shoes and accessories to complete the look. Or see if you can get the same belt in blush and accessorize it accordingly. sorry if I’m honest the ivory/white would drive me nuts lol. But you look gorgeous regardless!!

I love this dress – always have!  And it looks stunning on you and your complexion.  I see the color difference, but I think it’s gorgeous as is.  If you don’t care for it though and would rather it be white, I would definitely tell them your concerns and say you mentioned you didn’t think you’d like the ivory belt before but they insisted you waited until it came in.  Tell them you still do not care for it and maybe see if they can make the belt in white?  It’ll obviously be an extra charge, but it very well could be a possibility?  They may not be offering that because they may have to go way out of their way to see if they could do that for you, but it’s Kleinfields and I know TV is TV, but they seem to be able to work a lot of magic around there to make their brides happy.

I honestly LOVE the colour difference! I think if it was exactly the same colour,it wouldn’t look as special as it does now. That being said, if it upsets you…change it. I think you might be surprised when you see a matching belt though.

The belt, dress, you… ALL look fantastic.

If you call Kleinfelds one more time about the shade of white on the belt, I think I am going to scream for them! A shade of white on a belt should not dictate how beautiful you feel on your wedding day. Get the dress, chalk this up to being overly-analytical and wear the hell out of it at your wedding.

Honestly, yes there is a slight difference and I like that it is a different shade and not sure if I would like the dress as much if the belt was stark white as well .  I feel the belt colour makes it look more classy!

This dress looks amazing on you! If the belt was white it wouldn’t be as nice. You sound a bit OCD. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

I dont love the belt anyway but the dress does look amazing on you.  What does “color sensitive” mean?  Is that a snobby way for someone to say they’re picky?  “oh, i am so color sensitive. I can totally tell the difference between D and E colored diamonds.  And off white and cream are totally different colors to us color sensitive girls”. Eye roll

I think the belt is beautiful and love the dress! However , you need to feel beautiful in your dress. If this belt doesn’t do it for you, then I’d try other belts !

Just want to say I think the belt looks great and I actually really like the colour contrast. I’ve never seen a dress like that before and it’s just beautiful. I love it.

I had a similar obsession about the corset lacing on my Maggie Sottero. The dress was a diamond white over nude, and the corset lacing was nude, even though all the catalog photos suggested it would be ivory and I specifically asked the salon about it before I ordered the dress. For ages I tried to find nude satin shoes in the same shade of the corset lacing, and I did go back to the salon and cry about it, and about their assuring me it would be ivory before I got it. So they offered to change the whole thing – corset lacing, modesty panel behind it etc. And they showed me the dress with the different corset lacing and modesty panel colors. Honestly, the ivory lace made it look like a night gown, haha! Even now when I see the catalog pictures I think to myself – thank God the dress didn’t come with the lacing I thought it would come with. Sometimes you just need to see things side by side to compare. If you are good with Photoshop or know someone who is, I bet that is really easy to change in pictures so you can get an idea without making the long trip.

I understand why you’re upset and I’m sure I’d feel the same exact way… but honestly you look amazing. The dress is breathtaking on you. Everyone is going to be in complete awe! I’m NOT just Saying that. People will NEVER forget you in that dress!

Just an honest opinion from a fellow bride-to-be!!!! Best of luck!

cheers!!!!

I’ve been in that fitting room and my consultant told me, “You’ve gone this far. Don’t settle.” So if you don’t love it, don’t wear it.

I think the contrast is lovely and brings out the organic shapes in the belt.

Once your hair and makeup and accessories are all done that belt is going to stand out in a good way. That dress is so beautiful and that belt is the visual interest on that dress. I personally love the slightly different color. Also in your room lighting or from far away in your pictures it would probably just look like crystals seen onto the bodice rather than looking like a belt.
