I have to admit, I’m having a hard time seeing the difference…  the dress looks the same to me in both pictures!  Maybe you could try adding a longline bra to add some oomph in the cleavage dept?

I can see what you’re saying. I don’t think it’s THAT big of a diff, and I would ask your seamstress if she can do anything about it. My dress came in a bit different than the one I tried on in the store too and I’m disappointed about it as well. Ahh, the frustrations…!! It’s really pretty though, I like it better in ivory!! (yours is ivory right?)

I’d bring the original picture to the seamstress and I bet she can achieve what you are looking for.  It seems like a subtle difference to me… and the dress looks fabulous on you 🙂

If you get the right seamstress, she can help you to fix that problem if that’s the only problem you have with the dress.  You can have cups put in to make you look fuller to have more cleavage and have the sides sewn in tighter to give you that more busty look.  Trust me, you’re not at a dead end.  At least they didn’t shorten your dress!

Do you have the option of going back to try the same sample on again to see if you still feel a difference?  Being able to feel it again one right after the other may help you define exactly what the difference is.  Also, if you aren’t having your alterations done at the bridal salon, having pictures taken at the same angle in the same lighting of the sample vs. your dress may assist the seamstress in pinpointing what you are wanting.

I actually think the new one looks better – but that’s just my opinion! You have to go with what you are comfortable with. Talk to your seamstress. Maybe she can help you fix what is bothering you. Hope it works out!

I definitely see what you’re saying! Hopefully the seamstress can fix it, although… I wouldn’t want to pay for it because you ordered it thinking it would be the exact same, just smaller… Good Luck!

Looks the same, the angle of the pictures may also be throwing you off. I think your dress looks great but if you’re really unhappy speak to the seamstress and see what can be done.
