@Duncan:  Indeed.  Except I just remembered that you were drinking beer at 11pm when it was only 10am where we were, so you’re probably not him.  Birds of a feather, though.

And OP, you do look stunning!  Your groom’s going to be blown away Smile

You look absolutely gorgeous. The dress is incredibly flattering, and looks fantastic on you. I completely understand how you feel though. I had wanted to get in shape (or more in shape) before our wedding. We decided to elope much sooner, and the weight was still there. I also was having some issues with my health at the time. I’m very self conscious of my arms, they are bigger than I’d like, not as toned as I’d like and my right arm has scars from two separate PICC lines. I will say this: as much as I lacked self confidence before, on my wedding day I felt great. I don’t think I went around singing that I was hot stuff, but I genuinely didn’t have one moment of feeling fat or ugly (pretty rare for me). My husband told me how beautiful I looked, and I believed him.

I’m not looking at your arms, I’m looking at the way that dress pulls in your waist and gives you hella curves!

Oh, I’m starting to realize that we all look at our own arms more than anyone else looks at your arms.  No kidding, I said something to my Fiance about how this lotion i’m using is making my arms look younger, and he said, “I don’t notice your arms until you mention them and then i’m like, oh, those are lovely arms.”  He’d think that even if I wasn’t using this silly amazaballs lotion.  Because he’s my Fiance and the guy loves me.

SO, I bet your guy loves your arms, F*#@ all else, you’re great.

I looked at the pic before I read your description and all I saw was how fab you look in the dress – didn’t notice your arms until I read the text and went back to look, and then I thought you were crazy!
