Thanks for your input! I really wish the shop I bought the dress at had more options for belts. They did have one belt I tried on with the non-stripe sample… but it wasn’t the style of belt I liked.
I think I’m going to just have to purchase a belt that I think will work and hope it looks nice!

That belt looks nice with the non-stripe version, but I think something simpler and skinnier would look better with the stripes.

I loooove your dress! Beatiful! And I definitely think a sparkly belt would look great.

oh how i love your stripy dress! Its so unique and gorgeous. Honestly you look stunning in it and you don’t need to lose any pounds. The dress is soooo flattering, you look like a model anyways. I agree with you that you need a thin sparkly belt that is straight (not the one with ticker middle). Don’t get a bow sash so it doesn’t cover your amazing skirt.

Thanks! I went ahead and bought a sparkly belt! It’s a 1/2 inch thick and will wrap all the way around. I’m wearing minimal jewelry. Just a headpiece in the back of my hair and some stud earrings. So, fingers crossed, I’m hoping I’ll like this sparkly belt better than the black sash. But altering the dress also makes a huge difference. Something about the dress felt slightly off… I thought it was the belt, but it could be that it’s not fitting me right. We’ll see!
