Hi bees! So my Maid/Matron of Honor and I went shopping today for bridesmaid dresses and came across this gem. The dress is one size too large in the picture but I wanted to know if you think this dress is appropriate for outdoor engagement pictures on a boat? The back is longer to the wind would pick it up and that could make for some good shots! What do you think? comments appreciated 🙂
P.S. Sorry about the picture quality and obviously I would be wearing heels and not loafers 😉

I think the wind would make a dress look more awkward than awesome, to be honest. Your photog will have to work around both the sun angle AND whichever way the wind is blowing your dress. If it were me, I would buy a dress that wouldn’t blow around. One that would look awesome and still from all angles. The last think you need is an unflattering gust of wind!

This is reminding me of a summer’s day in HS when I decided to jump on my friend’s trampoline… In a skirt. I’m sure you can guess the ending to this story.
If you decide to keep the dress, at least wear some Spanx shorts underneath!

lol…I think we’re actually going to change the boat to a waterfall with more casual outfits like this! My fiance is not a fan of the boat engagement and he wants something more like this…
