    Love it!

    Hate it

Love it, just not on you!

    Too plain

    Too modest

Makes you look out of proportion

I don’t comment much here on the bee, but this is STUNNING. So classy.

Great pick!   It is absolutely beautiful on you…I am partial to dresses that are not the usual….I like the look of the wider sash but I would find either a simple thick satin sash or a sash with a simple pearl and crystal design…I don’t think sparkles compliment the dress.  The veil you have in mind compliments the design of the dress beautifully.     When the dress is tailored to your body, it will be better than the model!    I also agree that you need a slight petticoat underneath, the fabric of the dress will flow much more nicely as you walk.

@aliciaspinnet:  I love it and it IS plain, that’s not a bad thing! tI’s a classy dress that will be easy to alter, depending on how big it is on you.

I say no to the black belt, though. Please, something more festive, even if it isn’t blingy. What about antique satin ribbon? That’s would be lovely on this dress.

I see that a PP mentioned a pearl belt—now that would be just about perfect!

I like the dress, but I don’t like how it hangs on you. IMO, it needs to be poofed out to lie like the inspiration photo.

I would add crinoline, but it looks great!  Very simple and classic!

For me personally, it would be maybe simpler than I’d want?  But it looks so classy, elegant, and sophisticated.  It’s a stunning dress and looks marvelous on you!  and there’s so many options of what  you could do for a belt, for jewellry etc. It’s got a timeless elegance.  Good choice!

It looks way better on you conpared to the model. It is gorgeous. I just bought my dress for $100 off eBay. I’m super glad your online gamble paid off!

I love the dress on you. The fabric definitely looks like it is well made and has some weight to it. I’m impressed you scored a silk dress for under $300! Congrats!

I’m waiting for the dress I orderd from lightinthebox.com to arrive, I’m expecting it to be delivered tomorrow 🙂
