I bought my dress is January and it’s finally in! I get to try her on after I get out of work! Our wedding was originally in October and we haven’t rescheduled it yet so I don’t know the next time I’ll get to wear her again can’t wait to take pix later! I have no chest so it will be 3 sizes to big in the bust. lol. Not looking forward to the alterations cost!

Woo! What an exciting day!!! I agree that alterations are a huge bummer in terms of money, but worth it to make your dress fit you like a glove! You’re doing a small destination wedding sometime, right? Depending on when you decide to have it, you may want to hold off a bit on serious alterations just to ensure a perfect fit when your wedding day gets here!

@ILoveMyKorat: make sure you shop around for alterations. I went to one lady who wanted to charge me $310 for taking it in, bustle, and breast cups and said my dress would be ready mid-end August. I found another lady a few weeks later who wanted to charge me $125 and it would be done in 1 week! Guess which one I chose!?!?! She did an amazing job and I will be giving her all of my alterations business.

Thanks, guys! Yeah, I can’t believe the top isn’t as ginormous as I thought it would be! If I really wanted, I prob could just get the dress hemmed. Omg, are the cups like 4 sizes too big, though! Lol. My sales girl said the owner had two sets of cups sewn in hers! That sounds nice but we’ll see how much it costs when the time comes!
